Services Offered

LightSpring offers 16 different visit types to choose from. All are video consultations, and your animal will need to be present during our call.  

When you choose a visit type, a specific form will be sent to you to complete. These forms are designed to collect a thorough history in advance of our consult, so we can make the most of our time together.

If you need flea/tick/heartworm medications and your pet also has a medical concern, such as itchy ears, please select the Dermatology Consult so I can gather the correct history. 

Likewise, if you need a medication refill and your pet is experiencing anxiety, please select the Behavior Consult.

Wellness

Video call to evaluate everyday wellness and discuss weight management, environmental enrichment, and any other concerns you have.

Heard Health Consult

Video call to evaluate large animal concerns. (Horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas, and alpacas)

Preventative Health Consult

Video call to prescribe flea, tick, heartworm, and deworming medications.

Dermatology Consult

Video call to evaluate skin issues such as lumps and bumps or itching and scratching. This includes ear problems, as well.

Behavior Consult

Video call to discuss anxiety and other problematic behaviors via a thorough, holistic approach.

Mobility Consult

Video call to evaluate mobility. We will discuss chronic pain management strategies, including environmental modification.

Ophthalmology

Video call to evaluate an issue with the eyes, such as bumps, redness, or drainage.

Gastroenterology

Video call to evaluate GI issues, such as vomiting and diarrhea. If your pet has vomited more than 2x in a 24-hour period, please seek in-person care.

Respiratory Consult

Video call to evaluate respiratory concerns. Please see an in-person vet immediately if there is respiratory distress.

Dentistry Consult

Video call to evaluate oral health, including at-home dental health strategies.

Quality of Life Assessment

Video call to navigate end-of-life decisions, including pain management, nutrition support, cognitive decline, and environmental enrichment.

Sick/Unwell Consult

Video call to evaluate a medical issue that doesn’t fit in one of the other categories.

Medication Prescription

Video call to prescribe medication refills.

Second Opinion

Video call to discuss a second opinion. Please submit records prior to video call (you’ll be given instructions after booking an appointment.)

Grief Support

Video call to discuss grief and loss of an animal friend.

Follow-Up

Video call follow-up for an issue previously evaluated by LightSpring Virtual Veterinary Care
