Preparing For Your First Consult

IMPORTANT

LightSpring Virtual Veterinary Care is licensed only in the state of Virginia.
We are unable to provide care for those residing outside of the state of Virginia.

Read these instructions, choose the correct visit type, and gather photos, videos, and medical records.

You will need to weigh your pet so I can accurately prescribe medications.

How to weigh your pet:

    • Weigh yourself on a bathroom scale (write down the number)
    • Weigh yourself while holding your pet (write down the number)
    • Subtract the difference to determine your pet’s weight

If your pet is too large for you to hold on your scale, contact your in-person vet to determine the last recorded weight.
