About Telehealth

LightSpring Virtual Care is for animal owners in Virginia who can access and use video conferencing via a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer with a webcam.

Virtual care is NOT a replacement for in-person veterinary care. An annual physical exam for small animals and an annual on-farm visit for large animals is still necessary to provide quality veterinary care.

All companion animals are expected to have an up-to-date rabies vaccine.

Virtual care allows for in-depth evaluation and conversations about many health concerns, including behavior, nutrition, wellness, mobility, as well as skin, eye, and teeth concerns.

Virtual care also allows for prescriptions to be delivered to your door for flea/tick medications, heartworm preventatives, dewormers, and many other medications without having to travel to a physical office.
