I’m so glad I found a telehealth option—working with Dr. Leslie Sheridan at LightSpring Virtual Veterinary Care has been an outstanding experience. The virtual format has truly been a game-changer. Instead of stressful office visits, long waits, and feeling like just another appointment in a busy clinic, each visit is calm, focused, and centered entirely on my dog, Stella.
Dr. Sheridan is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. She takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and makes me feel fully supported in every decision. I especially appreciate her open-minded, thoughtful approach to discussing care options and working collaboratively with me.
She has also been a steady, reassuring presence as I navigate care for my senior dog. That combination of professional guidance and genuine understanding has made a difficult time feel much more manageable.
What stands out most is how personal the experience feels, even through a screen. I never feel rushed or like “just another appointment”—her care for both Stella and me consistently goes above and beyond. Finding out your pet has a debilitating life-threatening disease is beyond hard. Of course I needed medical advice, but I also needed someone to compassionately put themselves in my shoes, help me process the options, all while dealing with my already grieving heart and emotional turmoil. Leslie Sheridan did just that. She made me feel like we were talking about OUR dog. Of course, my dog’s treatment
was up to me, and, thanks to Dr. Sheridan, i knew all the risk and probable outcomes and just exactly what day to day might look like. Knowledge is power. Not only did I feel empowered to do what was best for my dog, i felt like Doctor Sheridan walked with me.
In the same compassionate vein, i can’t say enough about virtual care. It was everything to me that we did not have to
move my dog or put her through any of the anxiety or pain that came with going to the vet.

Dr Sheridan provided more than just service to myself and my 13 year old cat, Toby, when she graciously stepped into our lives to provide the comfort we needed in those last few, very painful days. Her expertise showed through as she handled our situation with great skill, knowledge and much needed comfort that assured me God had sent her to us to to help ease Toby’s physical and my emotional pain. I will be forever grateful to her for all the kindness and follow-ups with me after his passing.. I recommend her to you wholeheartedly to entrust her with the care of your own beloved pet when attention to emotional needs become just as important if not moreso for you than as for your pet’s. needs and deserves whenever and wherever and whatever it is in his or her life. Dr Sheridan was very helpful when my dog developed a sarcoma tumor. She has been so helpful in informing me and helping me to make a decision on my dog’s treatment plan. She was able to set up a call with me quickly and was very persistent with the pharmacy to help me get my dog’s prescribed pain medicine when he needed it badly. I just wouldn’t be able to do that any other way without going to an emergency vet and spending much more money. Almost a year later and my buddy is still around pain free. Thank you Dr Sheridan!!!
I was a student under Dr. Sheridan during her time as a professor and I still go to her for care recommendations. She is approachable and compassionate with many years of experience in the field. She is providing an invaluable resource to the community as veterinary care becomes increasingly more difficult to access due to availability and financial constraints.
Dr. Sheridan had been our vet for years, she is a problem solver and cared deeply for pet and us as pet parents. If she didn’t have a solution she would dig deeper to find one. I highly recommend her as a vet.
Dr. Sheridan has seen many of my animals, even back when she was Dr. Brown! I also worked as a receptionist at CVC when she was a veterinarian there. She is absolutely as smart, kind, and thorough behind the scenes as she is when seeing clients. She is humble enough to never stop learning, growing, and teaching others. I remember when my cat who hated to be at the vet office was having a hard time there- she went out of her way to create a cozy box for the cat to hide in to feel more comfortable. She’s not just getting the job done, but doing it with extra care and compassion for both the pets and their humans. I used to drive almost an hour to go to their practice even though I had closer options. If you’re wondering if you can trust someone you haven’t met in real life with your furry friend’s care- the answer is absolutely yes with Dr. Sheridan!
Dr. Sheridan is one of the best veterinarians you can encounter in this industry. Her compassion for her patients and their people is above and beyond and she truly cares about what she does. She is patient and informative and a calm in the storm if you’re going through one with your fur-baby.
She employs the perfect blend of old school family-focused medicine with current information and treatment methods, is communicative through the whole process, and her enthusiasm is refreshing and reassuring.
As a LVT who was taught by her in my formal education she still influences the way I practice medicine and remains an inspiration for the way I now teach others.
Dr. Sheridan is one of the most kind and engaging people I have ever met. She has the knowledge, willingness to listen and creativity to adapt to new resources and modalities of providing veterinary care. Dr Sheridan was our vet with a few of our animals. Always compassionate and professional, very detailed and explained anything we needed to know, very knowledgeable and caring.
